      Diocesan Bishop G.F. Austin
OUR GOVERANCE
Suffragan Bishops are chosen by the Diocesan to work with the vision and directives of the diocese as team leaders and builders of regions, with District Elders as over districts comprising of Affiliated Pastors/Churches of the diocese within assigned the region.  Suffragan Bishops and District Elders are appointed by the Diocesan and serve as his helpers and assistants as deemed needed by the Diocesan.  Pastors of affiliated churches in good standing within their assigned district and, region are eligible to serve as members of the governing board which is the leadership team of the diocese and region.  Auxiliary Team Leaders, Committees and other teams as needed will be appointed by the Suffragan Bishop and approved by the Pastors of the region.  All funds, bank accounts and property shall be the ownership of the P.W.A. and managed in accordingly. Church reports, credentials, fellowship of local churches, complaints and other organizational matters and concerns will be managed by the protocol of the local, district, region, diocese and national body as much as feasible and reported to the appropriate team leader or the diocese in that protocol.  If the matter is resolved, it does not need to go further provided the appropriate leader is properly informed.  See the PAW Official Organization Minute Book for rules, procedures and laws.

OUR PURPOSE Apostolic T.E.A.M. Ministry (ATM) is designed to help the members of the body of Christ to more efficiently and effectively follow the plan of Jesus and operate as a team with many members but one body.  The facts are, we need one another in the body of Christ and together everyone achieves more “T.E.A.M.” Apostle Paul spoke to the early church and shared a design from the Lord as to how people of God in the church should work together.  He said in Romans 12:4-5, “For as we have many members in one body, but all members do not have the same function, so we, are many, are one body in Christ, and everyone members of one another.”
Our ATM Five Year Vision and Plan requires a team spirit that is never accidental, but always intentional.  It requires our ministry teamwork to be built with focus on purpose with clear understanding of expectations and values of Apostolic unity. and not on positions.  Our Apostolic Team Ministry is not an exact science but following the examples of Jesus, it will never be unsuccessful regardless to the challenges. One of the greatest needs for the Apostolic church today is to establish and maintain biblical unity and to become a team like “the body of Christ.”  The power of Apostolic Unity cannot be underestimated and the weakness of a divided body of Apostolic believers cannot be overstated.  Imagine what could happen if all true Pentecostal/Apostolic Oneness believers in this diocese functioned as a unified, prayerful and healthy body, in alignment with the Apostolic doctrine!   What a powerful ministry team we would with many miracles and greater moves of God with an unspeakable outpouring of the Holy Ghost and the adding of new souls daily in our local churches!   The enemy knows unity glorifies Jesus and horrifies the devil. As your Diocesan and leader, I am calling upon everyone on our team (all Bishops, Suffragan Bishops, District Elders, Pastors, Officers, Leaders, Workers and Members) to fervently and sincerely pray and seek God to transform our programs, auxiliaries, committees and activities of our conferences, regions districts and meetings into ministries that are in alignment with our ATM vision, purpose, mission and goals of saving souls and building the Kingdom of Christ.
The Master’s Servant,
+Bishop G. F. Austin
